Laser Eye Surgery Update

Hello again. For those of you who have not followed my Laser Eye Surgery diary from January of this year, (2005), you'll remember I went in for a mono-vision correction lasik laser eye surgery operation at Ultralase, in Chelmsford, Essex, England.

Normally, I would have been signed off by now, but I had a bit of a dry-eye problem which kept with me for several months. Equally, I had a change of work during the year (!) This change meant me being more outside than inside. However, when I was inside - the heating and air-con in different places effected my eye quite erratically. Consequently, it has been only over the last four weeks that I have stopped taking the Hypromellose Eye Drops - the artificial tears. (I stopped using the Lacri-Lube, (Ocular Lubricant), at night, some time ago).

And because I don't have a car with my new job, getting to Chelmsford can be a bit of a chore. So, Jan 6th 2006 should be my last trip to see the happy chappies at Ultralase.

Do I still recommend lasik laser eye surgery? Most definately! :)
